Colegio Cascais is an independent guide to private and international schools in Cascais and the Lisbon area. If you have any question about this notice or your data, email us at hello@colegiocascais.com.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools to see which pages are read and which links are useful, so we can improve the guide. Neither of them uses cookies.
- Umami (cloud.umami.is) counts page views and clicks on some links and buttons, for example "Find a school", links to a school's own website and the directory filters. See Umami's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and page speed. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We see totals, such as how many people opened a page. We don't use analytics to identify you.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the technical data any website needs to deliver its pages to your browser. Our fonts and photos are served from our own site.
Newsletter
If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We only do this if you tick the consent box on the form, and we use the details to send you the newsletter: school dates, open days and guides.
Your details are stored and the newsletter is sent by beehiiv, which processes them for us. Together with your email address we keep a record of when you agreed, which version of the consent wording you saw and which page you signed up on, so we can show that you consented.
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. To have your details deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@colegiocascais.com. You can withdraw your consent whenever you like.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply. We don't add you to the newsletter unless you sign up yourself.
Links to other sites
We link to schools' and official websites. When you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Your data
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email hello@colegiocascais.com.
