TASIS Portugal is part of the TASIS family of schools, run by a non-profit foundation based in Switzerland. Its campus in the Sintra area sits on the site of the former Beloura shopping centre, which the school has renovated since moving in in 2020.
Children start with the Core Knowledge curriculum and Singapore Math, along with things like coding, chess and violin as they move up. In high school they take Cambridge IGCSEs, then the IB Diploma in the final two years.
Lunch and snacks are part of the fee, which makes budgeting a little simpler. If you live in Cascais, it’s worth timing the drive at school-run hours before you decide.
CAISL is the other American school at Linhó. See how the two compare on fees, buses, admissions and accreditation in CAISL vs TASIS Portugal.
From the TASIS Portugal 2026-2027 tuition page. Tuition includes lunch and two snacks a day, books and after-school activities. External exam fees (IGCSE, IB) are extra. For Pre-K, families can pay a €3,000 enrollment deposit, applied to tuition, instead of the Campus Enhancement Fee.
