King’s College School, Cascais opened its new campus in Cascais in September 2025. It belongs to the King’s College group of schools and the Inspired education group, and it also has a boarding house for older students.

Young children start in Early Years from age 1. From Reception they follow the Cambridge curriculum through to IGCSEs in Year 11, with a bilingual English–Portuguese stream available up to Year 5. For Years 12 and 13, the school says its main offer is the IB Diploma, with A Levels for a small group of students.

IB Diploma authorised (IB school finder, since 15 May 2026). The school’s own website still describes it as a candidate school (checked 21 October 2026). To see how King’s compares with the other IB schools in the area, read our guide to IB schools in Lisbon and Cascais.

For younger children, a visit to the new campus is a good place to start.
