Colégio Quadrante is a Portuguese private colégio in Pampilheira, Cascais. It brings together two older local schools, Escolinha Tia Ló and Colégio Europa, and is part of the Project To Be group. It takes children from the baby room (berçário) and creche through to the end of 2.º ciclo (6.º ano).
Teaching follows the Portuguese curriculum, with an integrated English project the school calls bilingual: English throughout pre-school and daily English in 1.º ciclo. Quadrante is a Cambridge Educational Partner and Cambridge Preparation Centre for English Qualifications. The website has an English version.
It suits families who want their child in a Portuguese school, learning Portuguese alongside English, from babyhood. It is not an English-medium international school.
Admissions start with an online pre-registration, followed by a personal visit with the Pedagogical Direction. Its sister colégio, Papião in São Pedro do Estoril, follows a similar model.
