Colégio Papião is a Portuguese private colégio in São Pedro do Estoril, part of the Project To Be group (the same group as Colégio Quadrante in Cascais). It takes children from the baby room and creche to the end of 1.º ciclo (4.º ano).
English is Papião’s distinctive feature. Since 2012/13, specialist teachers and teaching assistants have run an integrated English project, with daily English classes from age 3 and English used informally in routines, the playground and on trips. The school has been a Cambridge Educational Partner since 2015, and every pupil sits the Cambridge Young Learners exams on site in 3.º and 4.º ano.
Teaching otherwise follows the Portuguese curriculum. Weekly judo is part of the pre-school curriculum.
